Joiseybill (788712) writes "The IEEE reports that University of Florida researchers have designed a particle on a gold substrate that selectively kills the Hepatitis C virus with 100% effectiveness in the lab. Cool, but instead of calling it a 'nanoparticle', or 'nanozyme' as the science folks wanted, the press release is calling this a 'nanobot' to sound 'cool' and garner more headlines."
