Windows 8 -- Advertising bugs for Microsoft in French Canada

Anonymous Coward writes | about 2 years ago

An anonymous reader writes "Windows 8 (and most advertising from Microsoft) always display the time and date in "English format" for the French Canadian market.

For example, they show "Mercredi, 4:09pm" instead of "Mercredi, 16:09"

More troublesome are date: For example, does 11/10/12 is the 11 Oct 2012 (French) or the 10 Nov 2012 (English).

I guest, windows will never be bug free."
