Major Security Flaw in ExamSoft Test Administration?

Anonymous Coward writes | about a year and a half ago

An anonymous reader writes "Anonymous poster has identified a major security flaw in ExamSoft test-taking software. Because the software does not disable hot keys for switching the operating system keyboard layout, it is potentially the case that customized keyboard layouts can be used to hide arbitrary strings of cheat-notes, whereby pressing 'a' would instead spit out a string of test like "Slope is m = (y-b)/x." Poster says it has not been tested, but it could potentially be exploited. The software is used by 42 states to administer the bar exam."
