What to drink in aftermath of caffeine detox?

An anonymous reader writes "I had a miserable weekend being bedridden with seasonal illness symptoms, which were compounded with caffeine withdrawal (I was a regular drinker of two cups of coffee per day). Now it seems that the illness is waning, and a couple of hits of acetaminophen have quelled the headaches from the lack of caffeine. According to wiki I'm past the peak point, and while the symptoms may continue for a few more days it already feels better. Problem is... I'm not entirely sure what to drink now. Any suggestions from the successfully detoxed about what to replace it with?"

with sugar substitute. Get yourself a glass spaghetti jar. Half full with hot water from the office coffee maker. Steep for a few minutes. Add sugar substitute and then fill with ice cubes. Yummy.

When you get bored with Lipton decaf, try:

Celestial Seasonings: Vanilla Sleepytime, Peppermint

At home, get a gallon jar of pickles. Eat the pickles. Fill the jar with water and heat directly on the stove on the low setting. It's hot enough for tea after an hour or so. Drop in 6 tea bags. Let steep for a while. Then let it cool off and refrigerate. In the summer, skip the stove and make "sun tea." Basically, fill with water, drop in tea bags and leave the jar outside in the sun all day.

Why would you want to quit caffiene, especially when you're sick? Hot coffee aleviates many flu symptoms.
