Google Maps loses top mobile app slot to Facebook, thanks to Apple Maps

With Apple running interference, Facebook secured the No. 1 position for the year, according to newly released data from comScore. However, Google lays claim to four of the top ten mobile apps for 2012, including Google Maps, Google Play, Google Search, and Gmail."
