Kozar_The_Malignant (738483) writes "Students at the University of Iceland have written an Android app that helps you avoid dating your cousins. The app accesses the Icelandic national genealogical database that contains information on all living citizens and their ancestors going back 1,100 years. Tapping two phones together will bring up an alert if you share a common grandparent."

Would not work in the USA (0)

Many black people do not know who their fathers are, let alone their grandparents. And in a state like West Virginia, sometimes cousins make up a very large part of the dating pool - removing that portion would severely restrict options. It would probably need to be modified to alert only to immediate family, or perhaps only if both people share both a common grandfather and grandmother.
