judgecorp (778838) writes "The Syrian Electronic Army maintains that Anonymous has got none of its private data, but Anonymous has repeated and elaborated its threat to expose the pro-Assad hackers. Leaks so far have been false, we are told, and Anonymous "will release names when we are more certain". The motive? An Anonymous spokesperson says SEA tarnishes the honour of hacktivists: "I am disgusted by a group so cynically motivated to help an oppressive dictator and attempt to dress it up as hacktivism."
