Energy as money

moteyalpha (1228680) writes "In the process of research into 3D printing I have modified an existing way to generate and store electrical potential energy cheaply and efficiently using some new sub micron 3D techniques. I have been following the progress of Dr Sadoway's liquid metal battery at MIT as well as his open course in physical chemistry and he is a great teacher and obviously creative as well. I have put together some information on my extension of the ideas relating to energy and money.. But since RTFA is not very common, I will paraphrase. It seems that electron potential could become currency that could literally power advancements in human achievement when combined with a completely self replicating 3D printer. The only other achievement that could rival it would be a fungus that was self replicating, could generate energy from sugar, and manufacture a chemical compound like alcohol. Maybe somebody will create that."
