The IPV4 internet has broken

All routers with a TCAM allocation of 512k (or less), in particular Cisco Catalyst 6500 and 7600's, have started randomly forgetting portions of the internet. Time to switch to all IPV6 yet?"

The linked solution is a work around for people with little to no need for IPv6, so they can reallocate storage from IPv6 to IPv4. If everyone was on IPv6, a much larger dataset, then that would fit into the TCAM ... how?
