Help me with my Time Capsule

network23 (802733) writes "I'm buildning a new house and will fit a time capsule into one of the walls. A small box filled with memories from next week to be saved for, hopefully 50 or 100 years from now. I will of course include all the usual stuff like coins, stamps, a newspaper and snapshots of my son, wife and me.

But what other things should I put into my time capsule? What trinkets would the future slashdot reader be happy to find 2107?

An orange iPod Shuffle? A memory stick with a DRM-protected song from iTunes? A DVD with the first episodes of different Star Trek series? A turd brown Zune? (Hey, even an Edsel in mint condition is valuable 49 years later.)

Please advice a.s.a.p."
