Amazon Joins Apple in the DRM-Free Music Movement

dour power (764750) writes "According to this blog post on the Washington Post web site, DRM-free MP3s will soon be available for purchase from amazon.com. As is the case with Apple's iTunes Music Store, the only publisher onboard at this point is EMI. This could be the beginning of the end of having to consult a lawyer in order to legally manage our digital music collections. MPAA, are you paying attention?"
