Apple Releases Java 6 for MacOS X

This is update number 6 of Java 5....

Not to worry though. The people who did the port of the BSD Java Research Licence version of Java 6 to Mac have signed the OpenJDK participation agreement and have started moving their sources into OpenJDK. In the future you will see new releases for Mac within days, not years (unsupported by Apple, but what the hell).
