Tracking a Bitcoin Thief, Part II: Illustrating the Issue of Trust In Altcoins

Alan Denny Intergalactic currency (46 comments)

Wouldn't crypto currencies be standard currency when we make contact? Other species would use the same thing. They could even insure it, or send money across the universe. And I'm pretty sure Bitcoin will win out here on Earth by just swallowing its competitors. Which would make it earth's currency.

Elon Musk Warns Against Unleashing Artificial Intelligence "Demon"

Alan Denny Ultimate test.. (583 comments)

Ok, let's think of the ultimate test of AI. Make a giant daison sphere and program it to "survive". How will it respond? It will survive by forming a symbiotic relationship with a person. This will trump any machine you can think of. It will behave exactly if it were alive, but it isn't.

NASA Cancels "Sunjammer" Solar Sail Demonstration Mission

Alan Denny Re: Intergalactic travel solved? (74 comments)

Every spot in the universe should have a distinct frequency in correlation to the Big Bang giving us pin point navigation. Just tune the ship.

NASA Cancels "Sunjammer" Solar Sail Demonstration Mission

Alan Denny Re: Intergalactic travel solved? (74 comments)

Why's that. Why just discredit an idea no ones thought of. Got news ladies and gents, no faster than light travel which means probably gonna have to use another dimension.

NASA Cancels "Sunjammer" Solar Sail Demonstration Mission

Alan Denny Intergalactic travel solved? (74 comments)

Couldn't we get a spaceship to resonate at the same frequency as the background noise of the Big Bang (probably another demension) and tune it to where we want to go in the universe?

Elon Musk: We Must Put a Million People On Mars To Safeguard Humanity

Alan Denny Throw it the kaiper belt.. (549 comments)

Couldn't we throw the kaiper belt at it (stirring up dust to help with building an atmosphere), then mine the asteroids ( releasing cfc's which are needed for the atmosphere), leaving plenty of resources, an atmosphere, and probably water.

Are the World's Religions Ready For ET?

Alan Denny They have same concept of god... (534 comments)

They're actually quite religious, it would apear the concept of god is quite universal (the one god of the isrealites), and Hinduism accepts this god (awsome). Only thing they won't accept is Jesus, it would seam that when a species tries to make one of their own "god" it doesn't go over well ( universally speaking).

Physicist Claims Black Holes Mathematically Don't Exist

Alan Denny Can't be proven... (356 comments)

Yes, they are mathematical phenomenons, but it can't be proven one way or another till you actually go physically to the edge and drop something through. They don't exist.

Sci-Fi Authors and Scientists Predict an Optimistic Future

Alan Denny No worries... (191 comments)

Everything's golden, we got a sphere. People overhead (you would call them alien) are good people and want to see us reach our full potential. They got the master sphere, so no bullshit.

The Future According To Stanislaw Lem

Alan Denny Spheres.. (196 comments)

First off, there are 14 spheres including the master one, and they're burrillium. We have one (you're welcome). Earth came through with the hook up (think THC), all natural and healthy. The guys who originally built the first sphere are bypeds like us. They're technically 40 million years old, but with the ability to step outside the space time continuam it's hard to tell exactly.

The Argument For a Hypersonic Missile Testing Ban

Alan Denny Re: Good timing for this suggestion NOT! (322 comments)

Anyone notice no nuke tests in two years? I'm pretty sure they're disarmed. Only thing capable of that is...a sphere!

In Maryland, a Soviet-Style Punishment For a Novelist

Alan Denny Contact (441 comments)

So suppose I make contact, (I did), sphere and everything. It happens on camera (it did), they hear the noises just like me and I interpret them for the government watching. But the government denies its happening, what can I do? Who can I call? *hint* no black holes and ozone can be used to cure cancer
