Satellite Spotters Make Government Uneasy
Socrates (864371) writes "The Brussels Journal writes that the vast majority of Middle Eastern Studies programs in Western Universities are biased in their view of Islam. The result has been that academia is unable to take a critical look at Islam. It also states that while Chinese, Indian, Korean and other Asian Universities are graduating millions of engineers and scientists every year, Western Universities have been reduced to critical studies about the evils of the West. One of the hallmarks of Western civilization has been our thirst for asking questions about everything. So I pose to Slashdot: Has political correctness marked the end of this Western ideal?"
