Hybrid Car Owners Not Likely To Buy Another Hybrid

CSFFlame Re:Because Hybrids Don't Pay For Themselves (998 comments)

can't live with the short range and abysmal interior space of of pure electrics

The Tesla model S has great range and massive interior space. Remember, it doesn't have a driveshaft so you don't have a center console.
The Model X has even more interior space.

UK Plan Would Use CCTV To Stop Uninsured Drivers From Refueling

CSFFlame Re:Gee, why not just send the police then (691 comments)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we whine because we have to drive MUCH MORE than our EU counterparts due to the distance between locations (normally work and home). So while it's cheaper per gallon, the overall money we spend on gas isn't directly proportional. Electrics are going to make things very strange.

And if they'd actually behaved when they made the release version they would have been fine (no GPS, keylogging, website logging, or SMS reading and they would have been fine.

Firefox mobile can spoof User agent as a desktop to avoid the crippled mobile versions of sites. User agent proves nothing. TTL can be tricky though.

Yes the light blinks for a splitsecond and is hardwired. Their IT dept told the students it was a glitch. The geeks didn't believe them and put electrical tape over the cameras. People made fun of them...

Microsoft has a potential PR nightmare with Natal

CSFFlame CSFFlame writes  |  more than 5 years ago

CSFFlame (761318) writes "Microsoft's Natal depth camera has been noted to have severe problems detecting people with darker skin pigmentation. Even though this is a purely technical issue, the media is not known to be as forgiving. This has the makings of a PR nightmare if it doesn't get corrected before more demos. Due to the operation of the camera, fixing the problem may be exceptionally difficult, if not impossible without severe compromises."
