Dolphinzilla (199489) writes "As I was perusing Slashdot this morning it occurred to me how absolutely sick I am of reading about censorship, the RIAA, politics, and the war on this venue, I realize that a large portion of Slashdot readers like this and enjoy the back and forth chatter that it generates. But I doubt I am the only one who is tired of the constant deluge from all forms of media. My main reason for subscribing to Slashdot is for the technical/science content — so here is my thought — how about the Slashdot guru's give us the ability to filter the Main page content thus allowing us to only see the types of stories that we want to see ? Would any other Slashdot readers use this feature ?"
Give me a break - Accept it... George W. Bush is the winner by a very very clear margin - Kerry is the LOSER. Go back to your hash pipes and forget about it..... 130,000 votes is so statistically insignificant and represents bad research (not very surprising given the source)
I love Slashdot - but I hate when it gets politically divided - America is about Freedom of choice - The fact is we would be in about the same place today whether Gore, or Nader was in office. Our economy would be the same, we still would have been attacked - and we still would have taken some kind of action against terrorists. You can fool youself that voting for John Kerry (or Ted Nugent for that matter) will change things any substantial amount - it really just does not matter that much - vote for who you like, just make sure you are making informed choices based on something other than media hype...
