What would a brown dwarf do if it passed close by to earth... since they are hard to detect I can assume we wouldn't see it coming. Would it possible be able to cause the earth to spew out a moon?

I knew it would happen, that's why I made my website. Even if they do try, we'll just start up our own dark-nets and pray the tanks don't move into the neighborhood. --Bad karma on slashdot doesn't make me a bad person, right?

How Can I Contribute To Open Source?

EgNagRah Bring OSS to Libraries (332 comments)

Get a group together and host classes for creativity with free computer programing in the many libraries in nearly every community...if you have that much moneys...but maybe it wouldn't cost much? I don't see too much innovative changing going on in the world.

Synchronize Data Between Linux, OS X, and Windows?

EgNagRah oh... (305 comments)

Well thank you for this info, I do use bluehost for a business drupal install but didn't really think about it. I was trying to be funny mostly, because doing that wasn't something the OP wanted to do or deal with.

Drupal Multimedia

EgNagRah heres my take (130 comments)

People who have no experience with anything other than hotmail or google need some kind of base, the ability to NOT spend thousands of dollars every time they need their site altered. I like working with drupal because it is easy, unless you are completely in the dark. Learning is good, sometimes it can be a "waist of time" but at least your brain isn't rotting.

ICANN Approves Non-Latin ccTLDs

EgNagRah Search Engins ^ (284 comments)

This will make guys like google seem like definite gateway to the internet... Everything seems to be shifting. I don't think phishing will become a huge problem for people who get some PC training. On the other hand the countries more likely to have problems with this also have less of a chance to get people trained. I also would hope that browsers will adopt a feature to protect us in a more realistic way.

Hidden Fees Discovered For "Free" Windows 7 Upgrade

EgNagRah It's what to expect. (406 comments)

I'd didn't think the upgrade would be $0, but I imagine that when the time comes I'll be able to go to Microsoft's site and get it, since I did things the smart way and built a PC and bought OEM software. I can take care of my customers and they never knew the difference. But that's me, I'm not running some MM$ corp.

Please take a look at this petition, if compelled help /. this issue to the White House by Friday!"
