However, I am somewhat concerned about storing data in Apple's cloud or in Google Documents. This will be HIPA protected data. Unfortunately, a large and involved data storage and protection setup will not be feasible. What concerns/ideas would Slashdot readers have?" top
Elros writes "I am a recent graduate of a computer science department located somewhere in Missouri. I was rather disappointed to discover that I was taught very little of how to use some basic software engineering tools. There was absolutely no mention of revision control anywhere in the curriculum. Debugging tools were brought up briefly by a TA during a programing lab. I'm rather curious to know what other Slashdot readers have been taught (or would like to see taught) in regards to common types of software engineering tools."
