okay guys. I just had a conversation with the president of MobiTV. He had this to say:

Quote: Howard, great catching up today. Again, we're big fans of the sight and our intention was never to bring your entire sight down or to "censor the Internet" like we're being accused. The irony is that is quite the opposite type of company we are and as one of the leaders in new media, we couldn't be more supportive of the rights of sights like yours. Please know that our first priority is always to fix any security issues with our system and we're doing that. Additionally, we also have a responsibility to our content and carrier partners to reduce the impact of any breaches to the system once they occur and that was really the basis for the correspondence you had with our legal team.
I look forward to continuing to find interesting and vibrant insights from HowardForums.
Best regards, Paul Scanlan Cofounder, President

So I guess everything is okay now. Thank you all for your support!

Faeton writes "CNN has their best-of CES article up (http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/ptech/01/12/ces.wrap up/index.html), and to me the best-of-the-show was this: The R2-D2 Mobile Entertainment System (http://www.nikkor2d2.com) with features like a built-n LCoS projector (which can create an image up to 80 inches on a white wall) which beams out of the "official" hologram projector lens just like StarWars! Throw in an integrated DVD/CD/MP3 player, stereo speakers, integrated iPod dock and eleven R2-D2 sound effects and you've got geek heaven. It comes with a remote control in the shape of the Millennium Falcon AND you can move and tilt R2 around with the remote! All you need to do it rig a snack tray to R2 and you would have the perfect geek system."

Faeton Faeton writes  |  more than 11 years ago I got a new computer. P4 2.4B, using the neat Shuttle XPC format with the SB51G, throw in a 9700Pro AIW, my 2x 120 gig HD's and my 32x burner, and you got yourself a new system.

Still a bit loud though. I think I might go watercooling next time.
