for the sole purpose of lawfully connecting to a wireless telephone communication network.

That sure sounds like exactly what he was doing.

He wasn't, he was doing it to sell them for profit.

Even if you're not going to read the article, could you at least read the summary? Even if you don't use Facebook, you're still being tracked.

Human Rights Groups Join Criticism of WikiLeaks

Faylone Re:Wikileaks is a good yet naive concept. (578 comments)

They need an American with Top Secret Clearance to work with Julian Assange on certain documents.

So, get the people who want absolutely NONE of the data released to tell you what they don't want released? That will be productive.

Faylone Re:Illegal Search? (650 comments)

Why should it be if the image can be taken without intruding on, or even in the space over, your property? If you want privacy from above, put a covering blocking the view from above.

FCC Asks You To Test Your Broadband Speeds

Faylone Re:Why the need of an addy? (454 comments)

If they were caught doing that, and even assuming that they didn't have charges pressed for fraud, Comcast is slated to have to deal with the FCC approximately FOREVER. They would be wise to not try and piss them off with a stupid stunt like that.

Overzealous Enforcement Means Even Legit Music Blogs Deleted

Faylone Re:This is exactly the spirit of the law (240 comments)

They went above and beyond following both the letter and the spirit of the law. They had the label's permission to use it and songs has been taken down before the complaint was even filed. The labels attacked part of their own distribution method for something that would have been invalid even if they had not had permission!

Pat Robertson Says Haitians Made a Pact WithThe Devil

Faylone Re:who is REALLY Crazy (92 comments)

Interesting. As was mentioned above:

..says CNN - "Kate Ramsey, a Caribbean scholar at the University of Miami, says that the "pact to the devil" that evangelical Christian Pat Robertson suggested led to Tuesday's earthquake is a 19th century "fabrication" meant to discredit its slave rebellion and Vodou religion. "

When you say "these people", do you mean the missionaries or the Hatians? Are these missionaries lying or somehow confused? Is Kate Ramsey in error? Has the fabrication of the 19th century managed to become the reality of the 21st?
