From TFA: "The HTTPS option had also been disabled in Congo, Myanmar, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan."

"Hotmail users in the affected countries can turn the always-use-HTTPS feature back on by changing the country in their profile to any of the countries in which this feature has not been disabled, such as the United States, Germany, France, Israel or Turkey,"

Tupac is Alive! PBS Website Hacked.

Horizontal_Mode (1970618) writes "(CNN) — Online hackers have pirated the PBS website and posted a false story claiming the rapper Tupac Shakur — who has been dead for almost 15 years — is alive and living in New Zealand.
The group — called The Lulz Boat — also posted what it said were passwords of journalists, login information for the PBS series "Frontline" and sensitive information about PBS stations."

FAFSA Website does not support Linux

Horizontal_Mode (1970618) writes "I was thinking about going back to college for the 2011-2012 year and upon beginning my application I was told browsers on Linux were unsupported. You can get around it by changing your User Agent string, but I'm not sure I want to "lie" while applying for money. I guess the Microsoft tax applies to Federal Student Aid as well. Grrr"
