IvanCruz (316505) writes "Saw it on Linux Devices and at first could'nt belive what I was reading. It was simple too good to be true: an HP branded netbook, Atom based, 10" screen, 2Gig DDR2, 250Gig 5400RPM HD running Ubuntu (kinda) and just under $280? Well, according to our old favorite Steven Jay it's the real deal. Ah yes, there is also a XP version, slightly pricey and waaaaaay less juicy (half RAM and just 160Gig HD) due to Microsoft imposed restrictions. Where reports of the Linux netbook's death at the hands of Microsoft greatly exaggerated?"
