Kevin DeGraaf writes "As reported by the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News, Michigan gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos (R-Grand Rapids) has stated that public schools should be allowed to present Intelligent Design in science classes as a valid alternative to evolutionary theory. Said DeVos: "That theory [ID] and others that would be considered credible would expose our students to more ideas, not less." Here's hoping my fellow Michiganders don't fall for the nonsense that ID has any scientific basis whatsoever..."
