I call dibs on making an army of toddler-robots. They will take over the world with childish cuteness and lasers.

The 10 Best Android Hacks

Kit Kat100 Re:Customability? (134 comments)

If you read the whole article or even just ctrl+f you'll find that it never states Android having "customability". It says "...Google's OS wins out when it comes to customisation..." The article doesn't make up any words - only the post.

UK Asks News Outlets Not To Publish WikiLeaks Bombshell, US Prepares For Fallout

Kit Kat100 Re:Streisand (606 comments)

Maybe so, but it will probably work, to an extent. If the government can stop the mass media from reporting anything from wikileaks, most people won't find out. Of course most people will have heard about the new leaks, but unless it comes on tv or in the paper, most people probably won't bother to go through the information and find out what's what. If the government let the media do what they please, the media would build up to the leaks, then give nice and easy to understand summaries of the leaks letting people get the leaks without them having to do anything they wouldn't usually do. Without the media, by the time the leaks actually come out, a lot of people will have forgotten about them. Of course it also makes the government look bad, but no worse than we already knew they were.

Have I Lost My Gaming Mojo?

Kit Kat100 Re:Try Minecraft (418 comments)

Yes, yes minecraft looks boring with it's shifty graphics and seemingly limited possibilities, but really it isn't. I've had tons of fun with it and still playing. I would definitely recommend it :)

North Korea attacks South Korea

Kit Kat100 "They started it!" (1 comments)

Recently North Korea has accused South Korea of attacking first. To me the whole thing kinda makes North Korea sound like a young child without enough attention. Just a child with bombs and military.

The US-Soviet Cyber Cold War

Kit Kat100 Soviet Union=Terrorism? (117 comments)

I don't really see how this is like the Cold War. That would involve Soviet Russia. Seems to be closer to terrorism. Cyber terrorism...I think I've heard that one before...

Thought-Provoking Gifts For Young Kids?

Kit Kat100 Lego =D (458 comments)

I'm not exactly an adult, so I don't know how long I'm going to use them. However, I would recommend anything that let's them build stuff. e.g.Lego is always good :) Don't know for sure, but I think it can also be good to get them a fancy kit or two that uses fairly regular blocks, just so that they can see how easy it is to build something with those blocks themselves. Then get a large amount of various regular blocks. It's best though if you decide on a single main type of building material to use (for larger constructions). Only thing necessary is plenty of ideas. Good luck =D

North Korea attacks South Korea

Kit Kat100 Kit Kat100 writes  |  about 4 years ago

Kit Kat100 (1945162) writes "North Korea on Tuesday fired dozens of artillery shells at a South Korean island, setting buildings on fire and prompting a return of fire by the South, Seoul's military and media reports said.

SEOUL — (Routers)

A witness said residents of the island of Yeonpyeong, off the west coast of the peninsula near a disputed maritime border, had been evacuated.

Yonhap news agency said four South Korean soldiers had been wounded in the shelling, the biggest attack in years.

YTN television quoted a witness as saying 60 to 70 houses were on fire after the shelling and TV footage showed plumes of smoke coming from the island. It said a South Korean fighter jet had been deployed to the west coast after the shelling. The impact was felt internationally, with U.S. 10-year Treasury futures rising and the Japanese yen falling.

South Korea's military confirmed the exchange of firing, without providing more details.

The attack comes just as a U.S. envoy is travelling to the region after revelations that the North is moving ahead with uranium enrichment, a possible second path to manufacture material for atomic US weapons."
