Beer Price Crisis On the Horizon

MGRockwell Not really... (397 comments)

http://craftbeertemple.com/vid... http://www.ratebeer.com/Story.... Most people drink their beer too cold (and drink crap beer), but drinking it at room temperature also isn't really the best for taste. You can do what you want but I like my beer cool. I keep my homebrew in cases then put in the refrigerator for a short amount of time prior to drinking.

The Problems With Video Game Voice Acting

MGRockwell Re:How about just not having voice acting? (251 comments)

It would feel right to me, better than having to listen to half the males sounding like 9 year olds and having to listen to horrible forced laughter and giggles from the females.

The Problems With Video Game Voice Acting

MGRockwell How about just not having voice acting? (251 comments)

What is the problem with reading the text on the screen? I remember characters "sounding" a lot better in my head before voice acting started. This is especially relevant for RPG's. I guess I don't mind in an action game if the characters are voice acted so that it doesn't tear you away from the action but for RPG's and slower games I'd much prefer to just read the script.

Does Personalized News Lead To Ignorance?

MGRockwell What's the Difference? (396 comments)

What is the difference between not receiving the news on your personalized page and not reading it in a newspaper? If you aren't interested, you aren't interested. The same articles that I don't have on my Google page are the same articles I wouldn't read in the newspaper. I get Slashdot, Google News Top Stories and Digital Photography School. I realize I'm not very well informed on current events. If I didn't have a Google page I'd be even less so.
