Go For a Masters, Or Not?

Rungi Re:Work Experience (834 comments)

The biggest problem in the school systems regarding Teachers is not what they know, it's how they teach. There are at least two Teachers in my HS District that would rather plow through the curriculum and berate students trying to understand than take the time to enlighten them. It's a shame...

Is a $72.5m Opening Weekend Enough For Star Trek?

Rungi I have yet to see it. (820 comments)

The commercials always hype any new movie. I did happen to see Wolverine. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I may go see Star Trek this coming weekend but from what I've read even non Trekkies thought it was great.

Don't worry this is a fast track to melting the ice caps, so I'm buying beach front property in the Sahara, Death Valley, and Gobi deserts. =) I'm thinking perhaps they watched too many reruns of Total Recall.

Best Star (Wars or Trek) Battle

Rungi Re:Wesley vs Jar-Jar (809 comments)

I am assuming this is a battle to the death. If so, then either outcome is benefitial.

Wait, is this battle taking place "pre-traveller"? Don't forget, Wesley does get some type of powers. Not that the sissy deserved them.
This fight is good only for the comical value, which is why I voted for it.

Jar-Jar slaps Wesley; Ow! That hurt!
Wesley slaps Jar-Jar; Youse'em hits like a girl!
Jar-Jar slaps Wesley; I am a girl! You brute!

and so on...

What Would Benefit Most By Adopting an Open-Source Development Method?

Rungi Re:Religion, of course (365 comments)

Can you really tell me with all good faith that any religion has not obscured or changed some part of their scriptures due to misrepresentataion of intent in original text, personal agenda, or group agenda for that matter? I'm not trying to sway belief, but opening ones mind to all possibilities. You are quite correct imho that it's alot like Microsoft. Without some earth shattering publicized proof that something that has been taken as truth for hundreds of years is incorrect due to one of the above, religion is fairly closed to change. Respectfully,

MSNBC mistake or hack?

Rungi Rungi writes  |  more than 6 years ago

Rungi (1098221) writes "While looking for opening ceremony videos, MSNBC happen to have www.adultfinder.com with two girls naked and kissing. Well, seen better but on a high population site like MSNBC you'd think there would be a filter for this kind of advertising. Oops."
