Mozilla's 2013 Report: Revenue Up 1% To $314M; 90% From Google

Stan92057 Re:Wait, 314 million per year? (154 comments)

"Nowadays it's not called UI, but UX."

Well that's news to me about ux. But I do agree, the UI changes were the reason I switched back to IE. Personally all the browser suck one way or another nowadays

Stan92057 Re:Wait, 314 million per year? (154 comments)

What could they possibly be spending it on

How many version updates/upgrades did they release in 2014? I'm guessing the endless line of version updates/upgrades/bugfixing. I stopped using it when they removed the bottom bar. I don't like the top all cluttered up with endless bars and icons. But that's just me, but me counts the most.

Aereo Files For Bankruptcy

Stan92057 Re:innovation thwarted (132 comments)

Please explain to us how recording tv shows, sporting events all of which state no rebroadcasting allowed, innovative? we can record all the TV shows/sporting events the last 20 some odd years we want for personal use so no innovation there.

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/

"Quote"The company uses huge arrays of tiny digital antennas to record the local broadcasts, then charges a fee to stream that content directly to your PC, iPhone, iPad, Android device (4.1+), or Roku box."End Quote"

That's their business model "record for paid rebroadcast" Something they are already warned they cant do. Innovating way of breaking copyright laws maybe? Plus the court rulings against them as well.

Lunar Mission One Proposes To Take Core Sample, Plant Time Capsule On the Moon

Stan92057 IMO this is a total waste of time and resources (69 comments)

IMO this is a total waste of time and resources. The earth along with the moon are going to be destroyed along with anyone who is left living here at the time. Put a time capsule on pluto or further out hell it might even be livable though not too much space. That's my 2 cents too many poor too many kids not having enough food to eat for a real waste like this.

NYC To Replace Most of Its Payphones With Free Gigabit WiFi In 2015

Stan92057 I don't know, im getting really tired of paying (106 comments)

I don't know, im getting really tired of paying bloated prices because every business uses product makers to fund everything under the sun. I wonder how much money we would save if there product makers cut there advertising budgets by 3/4. Plus, why would I need to use Wi-Fi when I have coverage that I already pay for? What % of a cars price is for the advertising budgets?

MARS, Inc: We Are Running Out of Chocolate

Stan92057 Re:The Fix: Buy good Chocolate! (322 comments)

Stop acting like a snob

We know the best chocolate is made with the best beans and the best milk and the best sugar. Its so damn good very few can afford it, but if it were it would have created more fat people and more people with diabetes because the best dosnt use low fat milk or skimp on the sugar.

Stan92057 Have any of you eaten ice cream lately? (322 comments)

Have any of you eaten ice cream lately? Its better then half AIR. They are pumping so much air into ice cream you can plug you mouth with it and still get enough air to not pass out. I refuse to buy ice cream anymore. I make my own. Try melting it it doesn't melt to a puddle it stays fluffed up. We are getting assraped by the food industry The ice cream rip off is only one small example.
