Blackberry CEO: Net Neutrality Means Mandating Cross-Platform Apps

ZeroSerenity Then make development easier (307 comments)

Development for platforms should be set as ease for porting. Microsoft went full-force with this by unifying the OS (Win10) across any device. What is BB doing to make it easier?

Justified: Visual Basic Over Python For an Intro To Programming

ZeroSerenity Re:C# (648 comments)

It also shares enough syntaxal (is that a word?) blood with other major languages like C++ and Java to make it a viable place to jump from.

Lizard Squad: Xbox Live, PSN Attacks Were a 'Marketing Scheme' For DDoS Service

ZeroSerenity I really doubt these fellows are behind it (139 comments)

I've noticed that in the leadup to these attacks somebody going by Lizardpatrol1 had just been running around vandalizing Wikipedia. I think they're just cashing in on the instability of simultaneous new consoles being attached to sell the vapor product.

Emails Cast Unflattering Light On Internal Politics of Healthcare.gov Rollout

ZeroSerenity Keep in mind who controled the report (392 comments)

Because of the political dynamics in the House (Republicans who are critical of the ACA outnumber democrats), be sure to take what is written with a canister of salt.

Why No Executive Order To Stop NSA Metadata Collection?

ZeroSerenity Politics (312 comments)

He wants Republicans to vote no on such a change so it can make them look bad. If he just did it by EO it would make him look bad in eyes of Republicans for abusing Executive power.

Americans do not agree with science

ZeroSerenity ZeroSerenity writes  |  more than 5 years ago

ZeroSerenity writes "In a not so stunning article, it is thought by many that science is not something you have to agree with. A survey conducted by Pew Research Center states that "...nearly 9 in 10 scientists accept the idea of evolution by natural selection, but just a third of the public does. And while 84 percent of scientists say the Earth is getting warmer because of human activity, less than half of the public agrees with that." In addition just 27% of the respondents said that the advances of the US in science are its greatest achievement, down from 44% ten years ago. I fear for my own country's progress if people aren't this interested in science."

Sonic the Hedgehog joins Brawl

ZeroSerenity ZeroSerenity writes  |  more than 7 years ago

ZeroSerenity writes "After ages of fans begging for it, Sonic the Hedgehog is finaly going to be included in a Super Smash Bros. game. "The one whose Smash appearance has been most desired dashes in from far away at supersonic speed." After being given Solid Snake in the teaser trailer and now Sonic the Hedgehog just two months before it's release, could there possibly be any more guests or characters added to the game at this stage?"
