The Shoddy State of Automotive Wireless Security
My last car did this. Driving on snow or very wet roads would trigger the low tire pressure warning. It did detect an actual low tire once but there were so many false positives that I learned to ignore it.
One good thing is that it forced me to keep a pressure gauge in the car so I could check the tires and reset the warning light.
Google Introduces, Then Scraps, Bing-Style Background Images
Since they did that I've changed my browser home page to: http://www.google.com/pacman/. Nice plain white background, and you get to play Pac Man.
Revenge of the Cable Customer
I'm considering dropping Comcast cable TV because they recently cut off clear-QAM service in my area. I use a Mac with TV tuner. I can still get local and broadcast channels but no more basic cable (Discovery, etc). Comcast doesn't have analog service anymore so it's no longer possible to watch cable channels without a cable box. CableCard doesn't seem to be an option on the Mac yet and the DRM worries me.
Since then I've been relying more on Netflix, Hulu, and torrents. My computer is a Mac Pro tower, The software I'm using is EyeTV, Plex, and Front Row. It's really a kick-ass setup. I have a HDHomerun tuner and I plan to hook it up to an antenna soon.
I still have a cable box for a TV in another room but I'm considering replacing that with a Mac Mini or Apple TV.
Keeping a PC Personal At School?
It's nice to share but there's a point where it's no longer sharing and you're just being taken advantage of. If you're not comfortable saying no then I'd just not bring the laptop to school (or not take it out).

The Best Keyboards For Every Occasion
My favorite is the latest Apple keyboard. It's the most comfortable to type on that I've had so far.
The only parts I don't like is where the Fn key is placed, and it's missing Print Screen, etc.
Comcast Puts the Screws To HDTV
because they're the only option. I don't have fios here, and I'm in an apartment so I can't put a dish on the roof. I only be able to get a handful of channels with an antenna.
