Professor Describes Unbreakable Cryptosystem?

chinacat Re:I have an unbreakable code: (241 comments)

A. your code isn't unbreakable. With enough time something with so few of characters could be cracked by brute force methods alone. Not to mention that this could be done in less than exponential time.

But more importantly, you have to look at who is giving us this algorithm, Rabin of the Yao-Rabin-Simon Protocol. You know, that little thing that allows us to not only transfer enormous amounts of data over a far spaces in short time, but also allows us to buy our daily crap over the internet.

For sure this will be a very important algorithm in the future.
