'The Door Problem' of Game Design

If you're going to disprove my point with facts and logic that's unsportsmanlike.

'The Door Problem' of Game Design

ciderbrew Re:Will the door have windows? (293 comments)

I'm going for a manager vibe. I've read the word json somewhere and I think all company use of HTML should in the Json now. So if you could just implement that and fill out this TPS report that would be great.

'The Door Problem' of Game Design

ciderbrew Re:RPG Games (293 comments)

A good thing. I'd have to open every door in the game. I don't have OCD. OCD.. OCD... O.C.D.

ciderbrew Will the door have windows? (293 comments)

I'd like little windows so people can see into the next room. These are always missing in games.
ALSO, I want to shoot something through the doors and blow them up with things.

UK Bans Sending Books To Prisoners

ciderbrew Re:begrudge education (220 comments)

He/she used the Department for Education’s total budget; but not the Ministry of Justices’ total budget, which isn't a win for any argument and shows a lack of awareness. You'd not be happy with cherry picking stats either, order of magnitude difference or otherwise. There are around 8.5 million Children in the system and around 100k prisoners. Each prisoner costs way more more per head than child, per year.

OMG, you're right! The UK prison population and children in education is exactly the same.

If they spent the same on education as they did on locking people up per year then maybe you wouldn't have to lock so many people up.

Google Sued Over Children's In-App Android Purchases

ciderbrew Re:Dad .. Can I? (321 comments)

Chores are not worth me putting credit card details into a phone so this type of thing can happen. Free download and airplane mode on switched if about as far as i'll go. Ever handed over some tools and an old radio or VHS player to take apart? All you have to do is loosen some screws and you've a whole afternoon of fun.

ciderbrew Dad .. Can I? (321 comments)

No!
Oh but why?
No!
But. But.. That's not fair.
Don't care. Grow up unhappy.

Kids need to learn how to say No! to their kids or you end up with shitty grandchildren.
That's my motivation and future investment in people done.

Fishing Line As Artificial "Muscle"

ciderbrew Re:Heat is the limiting factor in our muscles, too (111 comments)

Engines have been dealing with cooling and heating for years. Wear and tear on moving parts expanding and contracting should be ok.
Values, joints and seals will break at the wrong time and leak over something they shouldn't.
I found this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... Role it up, stick it in concertina piping and run hot and cold air / water / oil / tea / beer/ over it.

Schneier: Break Up the NSA

ciderbrew Master Control Program: Sure..... (324 comments)

I'm sure they are happy to break up into as many parts as you think they need.
I'm sure they are happy to keep people as misdirected as possible.
I'm sure they are happy to be closed down 100% no one at this address not more... /business as usual behind the curtain.

Sony's Favorite Gadget Is Kinect

ciderbrew Social (222 comments)

I wish they'd both make everything a lot less social and less connected. I don't want to go into another persons house if they have the NSA/GCHQ spy cam installed. I don't know what the police think I've done and come get me regardless. Think they wouldn't?
Luckily the games are awful so I've not need to buy either.
