Apple's strategy is to release an OS, wait a bit, then start releasing small incremental updates that ought to have been in the initial release in the first place. I suspect they do this on purpose in order to confound the jailbreakers.

The temperature where I am now is controlled by...

Ours is controlled by a computerized system. When they installed it, they said "This is a State Of The Art System, and it will control the room temperature to within 0.1 degrees!"... Unfortunately, it seems that they forgot to specify which 0.1 degrees, so we roast in the morning, freeze at lunch time, and get wild swings during the afternoon.
