dduck (10970) writes "The Christian Science Monitor and The Jerusalem Post reports that Israeli company ZenithSolar is about to release what they claim is a solar power and heat generator that is competitive with fossile energy sources — even without subsidies. No independant analysis is available yet, so time will tell if this is really the breakthrough many have been waiting for."
