Big Advance In Hydrogen Production Could Change Alternative Energy Landscape

dino2gnt Re:Not a replacement yet (340 comments)

3. Burning hydrocarbons creates greenhouse gases.

It would be a carbon-neutral cycle, as you're not introducing previously sequestered carbons into the atmosphere. Burning hydrocarbons doesn't *create* greenhouse gases, it only *retuns them to the atmosphere*

T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling Was Vulnerable to Trivial MITM Attack

dino2gnt Re:Cyanogen (24 comments)

Is this the current Movial IMS-based implementation, or the previous UMA implemenation? The TMO/Movial IMS service isn't available on any non-TMO builds i've ever discovered.

dino2gnt Re:Cyanogen (24 comments)

As far as I am aware, TMO's current Android implementation of Wifi calling does not exist on Cyanogen.

Cable Channels Panic Over iPad Streaming App

dino2gnt Re:This is bad for content generation (346 comments)

Internet Killed the Satellite Radio Star

dino2gnt replaced it for me. (368 comments)

Using Your BlackBerry As a Modem On Linux

dino2gnt I've been doing this without Barry... (135 comments)

I've been doing this with my Curve 8320 without Barry for some time now, via blueZ and rfcomm under Gentoo on my laptop. It's relatively stable and has enough bandwidth for casual web surfing. I was able to get up to 20KBps down / 11KBps up over EDGE.
