Ebert: I'll Tell You Why Movie Revenue Is Dropping

doubtless Re:forget popcorn (865 comments)

here in Malaysia we actually have "gold class" cinemas that serve beer, and you get to sit in a couch. for about 4-5x the price of normal tickets tho, and yes you have to pay extra for the beer.

HP To Put WebOS On PCs In 2012

doubtless actually quite useful! (200 comments)

I frequently find myself switching between my PC & Blackberry, replying messages on one hand and doing some other work on the PC with the other. I for one would be happy to have the BB OS on the PC just so that I can use only one keyboard instead.

So yah, I can definitely see the appeal of this approach.

IPad 2 33% Thinner, 2x Faster, iOS 4.3

doubtless Re:GPS? (1118 comments)

Strangely GPS "seems" to work on the Wifi model, judging from the iPad wifi that we have at home. However, it does you no real good since google map won't be able to load the new locations when you're on the road, unlike the 3g model

E-Books Are Only 6% of Printed Book Sales

doubtless Re:Is it just me? (437 comments)

a device with e-Ink screen is the way to go, I can't stand reading on PC/other handheld devices either but absolutely love the experience on Nook.

There are of course Kindle/iRiver/Sony Reader etc etc, but they essentially all use the same e-Ink screen from the same supplier.

SDLC Tools Recommendations?

doubtless doubtless writes  |  more than 6 years ago

doubtless writes "I am asked to search for methods/processes and tools that can aid a small team of programmers in improving the way we work (mainly maintenance and development.) as we are about to inherit a product source code that comes with almost zero documentations. So far I have looked at IEEE standards, IBM Rational Method Composer, EPF from Eclipse, and TopTeam Analyst. Each of these offers help in different areas of Software Development. However, I am searching for something that will also aid the process of creating all necessary documentations of the said software (from requirements to design documents to user manual), any suggestions?"
