Mysteries Swirl Around Cyclones At Saturn's Poles

ilovesymbian How about earth's natural disasters? (67 comments)

Instead of worrying about Saturn's cyclones, how about worrying about earth's cyclones, hurricanes, tornadoes and tsunamis?

Lets reserve the funding for this within our own earth please. On one hand, people talk about making the earth "green" and on the other hand, they blow up useful money into researching how the universe was built, whether Mars has life on it, how cyclones and tsunamis occur on Saturn. Does the scientific community not have its priorities right and consistent?

Ford To Introduce Restrictive Car Keys For Parents

ilovesymbian Just spank 'em (1224 comments)

A good old fashioned spanking will set them right.

No need to worry about this hi-tech gadget rubbish, that too in Ford. :)

Yours lovingly,

Do We Live In a Giant Cosmic Bubble?

ilovesymbian Large Hadron Collider can help us (344 comments)

Maybe the Large Hadron Collider can help us with this. The scientists can try to recreate this as well - after they fix the magnet issues.

GIMP 2.6 Released

ilovesymbian I just love Gimp (639 comments)

I just love Gimp. But why does Gimp have to separate the windows like that? Can't it have everything as a multi-document all under one window?

Oh, and I noticed that images created with Gimp have a smaller size than Adobe Photoshop.

Run Mac OS X On Non-Apple Hardware, With a Dongle

ilovesymbian Slashdot violate Apple's NDA (536 comments)

Slashdot violated Apple's NDA by revealing too much info about Apple, so Slashdot's Apple SDK license will be canceled without further notice.

Ahem, Apple will not allow the Apple section Slashdot anymore. :-/

Virginia Supreme Court Strikes Down Anti-Spam Law

ilovesymbian Anti-Spam Software Writers are from Virginia? (255 comments)

The only plausible explanation for this ridiculous judgment is maybe that many anti-spam software writers work out of Virginia. The State doesn't want to lose revenue by letting these poor souls go out of business.

DOJ Needs Warrant To Track Your Cell's GPS History

ilovesymbian My iphone 3g got stolen! (122 comments)

What if someone stole my iPhone 3G and committed a crime? Will I be tracked and punished?

Its analogous to the red light traffic cameras that take photos of those who jump the red light, irrespective of who's driving the car, the owner is fined!

Locate Any WiFi Router By Its MAC Address

ilovesymbian Legality of this (204 comments)

Er, isn't it illegal to wardrive in some states [Florida] in the first place?

And then putting out the MAC address publicly, like finding someone's SSN and posting it publicly. Oh, I guess its the owner's fault for not securing it.

Apple Losing Touchscreen War

ilovesymbian It was HP, not Apple (392 comments)

It was HP, not Apple that started the touch screen. So Apple has nothing to lose really. And Moto and Samsung rock! Apple is just hype.

Corporate Gaming Is Good For Business

ilovesymbian Makes a lot of sense (151 comments)

This makes a lot of sense.

A lot of companies like Microsoft have areas for playing other games like table tennis, snooker, etc. So why not have room for other kinds of games as well?

And having the games linked to work output would increase in productivity.

Just my 2 cents.

My Job Went To India

ilovesymbian They took my job (396 comments)

They took my job; they took my job; they took my job.

The American companies are to blame, it has nothing to do with America or India. If Dell, HP, GE outsource to India, don't buy their products anymore. Simple as that. But don't blame the poor people over there trying to make a living with what the CEO of Dell does.

Anyway, Python is a great tool, yeah.
