Company Awarded "The Patent For Podcasting"

jim_redwagon Re:Will the madness ever end? (202 comments)

ok, free patent idea with HUGE royalty potential. the Manual Flatulence Diffuser.

I claim:

1) a method where by diffusing the heinous odors of flatulence, the method comprising the steps of
a) pinching ones nose by either thumb and index finger
b) pressing the back of ones hand to the nostrils

get this one and now every time someone tries to plug their nose you're golden!

Company Awarded "The Patent For Podcasting"

my god, i can't believe some of my tax money went to pay for that patent... that alone should be reason enough to dissolve the USPTO.

Streaming Election Night Broadcast TV?

jim_redwagon Re:Same thing with the World Series (396 comments)

while too late... TBS offered their bare streams of the ALCS on their website. You'd get 4 views, pitcher, batter, behind the plate (large view) and then slightly delayed, the super-imposed flight of the ball and how it went traveled to the strike zone. I had to watch one game this way while my wife had on Desperate Housewives, yes, i know, but it kept you abreast of the action.

bored, where to go from here?

jim_redwagon jim_redwagon writes  |  more than 9 years ago i've been writing desktop and web apps for about 15 years, using all sorts of MS products and js. but man, i'm bored!

i want to do so much more.

i want to build appliances to make life easier and more fun. gadgets, things that our parents and/or spouses would tell us are a waste of time but we know there's 100's of us out there that would buy it.

I'm still pissed at John M. for shooting down my (non-techie) idea of a mountain board back in 1991.

Any suggestions?
