pengc99 too easy (867 comments)

Red Hat -> Debian - I found after installing Red Hat, wanting to learn Linux, all I learned was Red Hat, not Linux. This became more evident after I migrated everything to Debian.

GOES-13 Weather Satellite Goes Dark

pengc99 pengc99 writes  |  about 2 years ago

pengc99 writes "The GOES-13 weather observation satellite ran into issues with increasing noise in it's imagery on Sunday, forcing engineers to shut it down and diagnose the problem. In the meantime polar orbiting satellites and GOES-15 are supplying the missing imagery, albeit at a much slower rate. GOES-14 is on standby to replace GOES-13 if required"
