DMCA Claim Over GPL Non-Compliance Shuts Off Minecraft Plug-Ins

rochrist Re:What the heck? (354 comments)

So, this guy caused a license violation, sold said license-violating code to Mojang, and now is DMCA-ing their ass over the same license-violating code he created and then sold to Mojang? Nice work, if you can get it.

Anita Sarkeesian, Creator of "Tropes vs. Women," Driven From Home By Trolls

rochrist Re:Her work (1262 comments)

I'm pretty sure nobody labels THEMSELVES as SJWs. if they do, I've never seen it. I suppose it's possible that there are a few, but I can't see there being enough to justify the common use of the term as a perjorative.

US Army To Transport American Ebola Victim To Atlanta Hospital From Liberia

rochrist Re:More NIMBY (409 comments)

I expect they already have customized equipment to do just that. Only rather than a MASH setup, it would be something more akin to a biosaftey level 4 containment lab.

It's a little bit harder to follow those protocols with complete effectiveness in many areas of Africa than it is at a state of the art facility in the US.

I'm not a collector, nor am I a library. But there are authors I will always buy hardcover. There are a lot more of me that you suspect.
