HDTV Distribution indside one's home

rtgree01 rtgree01 writes  |  more than 6 years ago

rtgree01 (457275) writes "I've been wondering if there is a device that will allow me to take advantage of the built-in HDTV tuners in all my TV's in my house. I would love to be able to have a media server located in a closet/basement that could broadcast an ATSC signal (video and audio) through the coax in my house. It would be like the RF modulators that video game consoles used to come with, but with HD... I've googled a bit, but haven't found something that is fairly inexpensive. I don't really want to do HDMI and baluns on all my TVs... So does this thing exist? Could the average consumer afford one? Thanks"
