I think this is it, correct me if I'm wrong.

Comet Probe Philae Unanchored But Stable — And Sending Back Images

synapse7 Re:Big deal... (132 comments)

I'm amazed there is apparently enough gravity from a 2kmx4km(right?) rock to hold the two objects together.

MPAA Bans Google Glass In Theaters

synapse7 Re:Anyone still going to the movies? (357 comments)

My favorite part is paying $13.50(maybe higher now, its been years since I've been) for stale popcorn and watered down pop.

Windows 10 Gets a Package Manager For the Command Line

synapse7 Seems busted to me. (230 comments)

Anybody get this to work? I was looking at a screen like the screenshot on extremetech.com and it said xFirefox(whatever that is) was installed, but if I look for firefox it is nowhere to be found.

Which Android Devices Sacrifice Battery-Life For Performance?

synapse7 Re:all (108 comments)

Any phone that can run a game is sacrificing battery for performance. If you set the cpu limit to 800mhz you still will be able to "work" from your phone and will gain 12-24 hours of battery time.

Netflix Video Speed On FiOS Doubles After Netflix-Verizon Deal

synapse7 Google next? (204 comments)

I occasionally view instructional videos from youtube at the low default quality, the videos will play for roughly 10-15 seconds and then stop. I have to pause the video, wait for it to buffer and continue to do this to get through the video. I'm on a 60mb service which tests out fine, I can download over 7MB/sec but can't reliably stream 480p video from youtube.com.

Anybody else experiencing this with youtube?

synapse7 Re:Reality? (622 comments)

Wow, am I the only one that thought the photos were staged, most of the photos were not selfies, and how else do you get this much publicity?

I just tried bending my plastic S3, at this point it wouldn't hurt my feelings too much if it broke, and it is fairly stout.

The Minecraft Parent

synapse7 Re:I look forward to Minecraft with my son (174 comments)

My 2 year old girl runs around in Minecraft on her tablet and on a PC. Although by her behavior she must have inherited my genes from playing doom, duke nukem and the like growing up. Unless your son is isolated, I doubt you will be able to keep him from minecraft before 3.

U2 and Apple Collaborate On 'Non-Piratable, Interactive Format For Music'

synapse7 Re:This is silly (358 comments)

I would like audio tracks to have a higher sample rate, something similar to audio from a DVD. It is 2014, I'm starting to feel fucking old and music is still at the same quality as it was when I was buying CDs in the 80s.
