Time Warner Cable Launches iPad App With Live TV

tealover Re:Yeah, exactly! (141 comments)

I have a really nice TV in the livng room, bu I don't have a spot in which to put one in my bedroom. I wouldnt mind having the optioon of watching the last quarter of a basketball game, or the last half hour of a film while laying on my nice comfy bed. I don't understand why people are hostile to the idea. I'm waiting for my cable provider to annouce something similar.

tealover Re:surrender.... (254 comments)

No one forgets that America's founding fathers successfully used France to help secure America's independence. France of course did not help America out of the goodness of its heart, they just wanted to weaken the Brits. France of course was too cowardly to direct contest Britain at that point and that is a trait that has followed them for hundreds of years.

Real-World Consequences of Social Networking Posts

tealover Usually It's White People Who 'Reveal' Themselves (451 comments)

Anyone else notice this ? It seems that many white people use social networking sites as a way to vent and express their true feelings, as in the case of Lee Landor, a seemingly well-adjusted young, white, liberal female. But, she did go to SUNY at New Paltz, so we all understand she's no rocket scientist.

EA Aiming For 50% Innovation

tealover Re:Innovation out of EA? (108 comments)

I remember their ads in gaming and computer magazines in the early 80's. That's when they were considered hip. How things have changed.
