titanium93 (839011) writes "Lee County Florida's water utility was besieged by upset people calling to find out what happened to their water. They heard from their local radio station's DJ's that "Di-hydrogen Monoxide" was coming from their faucets!
Morning DJ's Val and Scott from 'Gator Country' Radio have been suspended indefinitely for their actions."

Pirate Radio Station in Florida Jams Automotive Electronics

titanium93 (839011) writes "Police say a pirate radio station was broadcasting Caribbean music from an antenna placed on top of the eight-story Regents Bank building in Hollywood FL. For months, dozens of people could not use their keyless entry systems to unlock or start their cars when parked in the banks vicinity. Once the cars were towed to the dealership for repair, the problem went away."

Earthquake another Higgs Warning?

According to Fermilab Today: "Tilt meters strapped to Fermilab's magnets recorded the vibrations at the laboratory. The earthquake shook the magnets and caused the beam to strike a collimater, losing its store." Could this be another warning from the 'Time-Traveling Higgs'?"
