First messed up thing is, I am a complete catch. I am handsome, 159 IQ, graduated from the top 10 for my degree, and make $160k @ the age of 27, but I am white. She is Indian, more specifically, Parsi. The real messed up part is, the girl said she would want to marry me, but couldn't due to her [racist] parents. I know I can not be the first person to have this struggle, but maybe mine is just a bad one. Are there any literature out there for dealing with situations like this?" top
Additional validation requirements after online purchase
whitedsepdivine (1491991) writes "Personally, I am very displeased with the new trend of having my purchases delayed online. I probably get it more than others since I travel for work, and ship to a different address from my billing address. Although, when I am trying to get something overnight-ed or expressed delivered and I get that annoying call or email that I have to provide more information it makes me furious. I have missed anniversary dates, and had to provide additional information to someone I really don't know or trust.
Finally I got sick of it and looked for a way out. It may not be the best way yet, but it is a fight against the agencies that are showing up just for these security checks. Additionally, it makes the whole system useless since anyone who is fraudulently using your card could just refer to these Operation Regulations.
Mastercard and Visa have rules prohibiting such additional requirements as requirements for a purchase. Items such as not limited to Social Security Number (or any part thereof), Fingerprint, Home or business address or telephone number, Driver's license number, Photocopy of a driver's license, Photocopy of the Visa Card or Visa Electron Card, and Other credit cards are all not required to make any purchase." New employer's contact stating will not infringe upon or violate any patents
whitedsepdivine (1491991) writes "I started as a developer at a big company a month ago, quitting my job at Lockheed. After a month I have been presented with a NDA to sign. Included in the NDA is the following line “[T]he work product shall be your original work and will not infringe upon or violate any patent, copyright, trade secret, contractual or other proprietary right of others;” This seems absolutely obscured to me. I am not a patent lawyer, I am a developer. I don’t know if signing this contract holds me liable, for any patent infringement, but I have refused so far. They are currently holding my pay, and are looking to the legal team to see if it is possible to change. I doubt they will. I most likely will be faced with sign and keep my new job, or don’t sign and find another. What should I do?" top

This laser comes in 300mW, 500mW and 1000mW versions, at a price of $1 per mW. With claims that humans will perceive green light up to 2000 times brighter than blue. It comes with other improvements such as Tesla Cooling, and a second version of the Smart Switch. There is currently no disclaimer that this is not a Light Saber on their site, so we can only assume that this version is." Link to Original Source top
whitedsepdivine (1491991) writes "So my neighbor is shining two 100-200mW green lasers into my house, and she actually got it in my eye. That shit still hurts. I told them to stop and they just continue. This has been going on for a couple of months. I have an 1W Class 4 laser, and I am being pushed to use it in self defense. If someone is shooting a gun at you, you can shoot back; someone punches you, you can punch back; someone pulls a knife on you; you can stab them back, all in self defense. Now someone pulls a little 22 on you and you pull out a Barrett 50 BMG is that the same? Cause I feel like this is the gap between our lasers." top

E-mail Sent from Wicked Lasers:
Dear Valued Customer,
The S3 Arctic will no longer be offered at the introductory pricing of $197.97 effective on or before midnight July 23rd PST. The new price will be $299.95. The increase has been carefully thought through and it is only being taken to ensure continued quality. To meet the high immediate demand we must step up our efforts and budgets in dealing with expanded customer service and delivery deadlines.
The shipping status of the S3 Arctic is as follows:
G1 (w/ smartswitch) is in stock and ready to ship within 24 hours of purchasing, guaranteed.
G2 (w/o smartswitch) is not in stock and will be in stock in approximately one week.
Wicked Lasers will begin shipping Arctic G1 lasers to customers who email us and request this model in place of the G2 edition. While we suggest customers wait for the improved G2 edition with additional safety features, we recognize that some customers may require their lasers immediately.
Customers who do not request the G1 edition will automatically receive the G2 edition as soon as it is in stock.
We thank all our customers for supporting us and your patience. We look forward to dealing with you again! Best Regards,

Apparently not. Watch as the next generation of hacker’s shows us how “Tracer T” works to get IP addresses of users." Link to Original Source
