Submission + - Novell and Microsoft concede to reality

inteLlectual.MoNkey writes: Many in the Linux community might be shocked and a little mad by the agreement that Novell and Microsoft announced yesterday. Many might be asking "How could a Linux company partner up with Microsoft? Isn't that like sleeping with the enemy?" But both companies have concede to the fact that even though they are competitors it would be better for the tech industry as a whole and their customers that they quit trying to destroy each other and actually make things between Microsoft's products and Linux inter operate better. Like Charles Cooper states in his article "It's a concession to reality and a reflection of maturing attitudes." Microsoft's grip on technology industry, while slipping, is not going to totally release any time soon. So why couldn't we as Linux supporters "mature" our attitudes and also concede to reality that if it Microsoft products and Linux inter operate better is going to be beneficial for everyone in the long run? http://news.com.com/Microsoft+and+Novells+concessi on+to+tech+reality/2010-7344_3-6132230.html
